VANIA PRODUCCIONS was founded by José Luis Martín and Carles Roca in January 1996 after five years of working together for the Mad Televisión production company. At Mad they produced several television programmes (animations, comedies, game shows, programme sections, etc.) including the series 'Quico', which was produced for TV3 and won the Premio Ondas 1993 for the best TV comedy and 'Historias de la Puta Mili', produced for Tele 5 and also a winner, at the Premio Ondas 1994, of the award for the best TV comedy.
In 1998, Vania Mercè Puy joined the team as executive producer of 'Rumors'. Since 1996, Vania has produced, coproduced and distributed shows of all types (comedies, musical, monologues, dance...), obtaining the most important national prizes of the scenics arts: Premios MAX, Premis Butaca, Premis Ciutat de Barcelona... Thanks to all this work, Vania Produccions has been consolidated like one of the main businesses of the sector.
Four differentiated and complementary areas of work can be identified:
Management of companies and artists, based on integral management and personalised treatment
Executive Production, providing global management of the artistic and economic elements of the project
Production and organisation of cultural Events and performances
